Honda Fit Sport With Navigation
Today's Fit is slightly larger than before, with a friendlier cabin, snazzier sheet metal, useful new features and more pleasant driving dynamics. Strengths like its versatile interior remain, while blemishes such as its tendency to get the shakes on uneven road surfaces have been addressed.
There's one shortcoming to consider: Though Fits equipped with manual transmissions feel adequately powered, those with automatic transmissions (like the Fit Sport that's the subject of this test) tend to feel sluggish off the line. If you're looking for a more energetic automatic-equipped hatchback, consider the eager Pontiac Vibe GT. And though the Fit's handling is superb for the economy-car class, it still trails that of the Mazda Mazda3, which is the segment's true athlete.
But in the end, this Honda — which, it should be said, is more fuel-efficient than both the Vibe GT and the Mazda3 — offers an overall mix of virtues that should hit the spot with many buyers. The 2009 Honda Fit Sport manages to be frugal, functional and fun. It's a must-see if you're shopping for an economical hatchback. (American Pro Moving And Storage - Saturday 21 February 2009)

American Pro Moving & Storage Company : 2009 Pontiac Vibe GT
The 2009 Pontiac Vibe GT doesn't win the statuette for enthusiasts' favorite in its category. That honor still belongs to the Mazda Mazda3, which has long delivered world-class driving dynamics that are unmatched in this price segment. Still, the Vibe GT's performance is incredibly engaging relative to most others in its class, and it trumps the 3 when it comes to cargo room and passenger space. The hardworking Pontiac Vibe GT deserves a starring role, but whether it's an ideal pick for you will depend on which attributes you value most in a wagon.

Porsche 911 Carrera -
On the 911's track testing comment sheet, our hot-shoe road test editor had nothing but glowing superlatives to share about his time slicing through cones in the 3,200-pound Carrera. "Brilliant, perfect body control. Excellent steering weight and feedback. Predictable, intuitive." With a firm, trustworthy pedal, the brakes produced an impressive stop from 60 mph in 104 feet, which makes us wonder how much more stopping power the optional ,150 ceramic composite brakes would bring to the party. Ford Fusion Hybrid
Though a brand-new vehicle, the hybrid is based on the Ford Fusion, already a popular non-hybrid midsize family sedan that we've found to be roomy and sporty to drive. We previously had a few complaints about the Fusion, but almost all of them have been addressed by the 2010 model-year redesign, which introduced new sheet metal that kicks up the Fusion's visual presence, more powerful engines, a new six-speed transmission and extensive interior improvements.
Essentially a Fusion SEL fitted with a hybrid drivetrain and the slick Smart Gauge with Eco Guide driver information system, the Ford Fusion Hybrid carries a $3,300 price premium over the non-hybrid version. But if you buy your Fusion Hybrid before September 2009, you'll be eligible for a $1,700 hybrid tax credit, which closes that gap to $1,600 over the non-hybrid Fusion. That's still pretty steep, especially when you consider a Toyota Camry Hybrid is only about $600 more expensive than a comparable non-hybrid Toyota Camry XLE. But to many, hybrid ownership isn't always about how much it costs them up front. If that's true for you, read on.(American Pro Moving And Storage : Monday 19 November 2007)

Toyota Tundra Double Cab 4.6 - Function
Despite the big cab, the 6.5-foot bed is equal to others in the class (an 8-footer is optional). There was no bedliner or nifty features like Dodge's RamBox cargo cubbies, but the sliding tie-down rails along the sides and forward portion of the bed were certainly useful. Another nice touch is the damped tailgate that gently glides down rather than crudely slamming open.

American Pro Moving And Storage Company - Honda Civic Hybrid With Leather and Navigation - Comfort
Our top-of-the-line Civic Hybrid test car was decked out with heated leather front seats with manual seat-height adjustment, and a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel. The front seat cushion was firm (but not hard) with some minor side support. The more aggressive side bolstering on the seatback could feel a bit tight for a broad body type. Headroom and hiproom were better than expected for a compact. In back, the fairly flat rear bench seat offers very little lateral support, but the center seating position is softer and more comfortable than most in the class. Overall, it's an impressive level of comfort for a compact sedan in the under-$30,000 price range.
If only Honda could do the same thing about road noise. Enough tire rumble made its way into the cabin to remind us that this is a Honda (cars known for substantial road noise), with the most noisy moments occurring on highways and rougher road surfaces. Wind noise wasn't terribly obtrusive, but overall this is not a particularly quiet car. (American Pro Moving And Storage : Wednesday 18 February 2009)
